Hi! My name is Brandy and I started baking as a little girl in the kitchen with my Mom, Sheila (pictured next to me). I can clearly remember the delicious smell of Christmas cookies being baked, birthday cakes fresh from the oven, and other delicious treat she would bake. Needless to say baking with her and watching her in the kitchen built up a passion for me to follow in her footsteps. 

I first started baking cookies and cupcakes for my call center job to have snacks and treats during breaks. This carried on at my next job and I became the "cake lady". After a few years of self education I decided to bake professionally and went to pastry school. There I learned the roots and origins of where classic recipes came. During this time that I decided to put my all into my own official cake business. With the loving support of my Mom, Sheila and my 2nd Dad Brian aka "Big Guy" I was able to take a leap of faith and start what has become "The Sugar Cave". 

Our Story

Our motto is"We make cakes you remember". Have you ever had a conversation with a person about a wedding or party from the past and they can recall everything everything except for the flavor or style of the cake? Prior to starting my business I had plenty of those conversations and I wanted to really work on creating cakes that my clients remember everything about. That was truly a driving force for me.  


We truly enjoy sitting down with each and every single couple for wedding cake tastings and getting to know their own individual stories. We are so grateful to each couple or individual who has been, is currently or will be a future customer of The Sugar Cave services. Every wedding and event is so special to us and we are so appreciative to those clients who trust us to make their day extra special.
